About the role
GiveDirectly’s Emergency Cash team is hiring a senior chief of staff to strengthen strategy, performance management and organisational effectiveness. The role builds the systems and operating rhythms that help emergency programmes move faster and communicates the team’s value to important partners.

Responsibilities
What you will do
- Own performance dashboards, goal monitoring and strategic-planning processes.
- Improve operating rhythms, decision-making structures, playbooks and institutional knowledge.
- Develop strategic messaging and core materials for Emergency Cash programmes.
- Coordinate mobile-network-operator relationships, milestones, risks and follow-through.
- Lead high-priority cross-functional initiatives and advise leadership on emerging opportunities and risks.
Requirements
What you will bring
- At least six years in strategy, operations, consulting, organisational effectiveness, product strategy or a related field.
- Evidence of building systems and processes that improve team performance and accountability.
- Strong strategic thinking, analysis, project management and executive communication.
- Ability to influence varied stakeholders without direct authority and deliver through ambiguity.
- Experience developing messaging, positioning or stakeholder-engagement strategies.
